To book a session, please use my secure online system below - it lets you pick a time that fits your schedule.

All sessions are booked through my secure online system. You can easily select a time that suits you, whether online or in person. Sessions are booked in advance so you may need to look a few weeks ahead for more times.

Please note I work in person in central Surbiton on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I work online on various days but mainly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I sometimes work online on the weekends. I regularly update my availability on the home page of my website. My availability changes weekly so it is best to check below.

If it’s your first session with me then please make sure you book the “First Online Therapy Session” or “First In Person Therapy Session”. I’m looking forward to meeting you!

Therapy sessions are 50 minutes long. You will be prompted to pay during the booking process, either via credit or debit card, or via PayPal. Fee information can be found here.

Further details on initial sessions, including information on fees, can be found here. I aim to respond within 7 working days, but sometimes I may take longer. If I ever don’t respond then please contact me again. Sometimes emails get lost in my spam folder.

What will happen next?

After you have booked your session you will receive a confirmation email. For online sessions you will find the Google meet link for the session next to where it says “Where” in your confirmation email and reminder email. All you need is yourself, a stable internet connection, and a private space.

If you are booking an in person session I’ll send you the address and information about getting here. Please note that booking an in person session doesn’t guarantee that slot as a weekly slot, weekly slots are arranged with me and require booking in advance.

Therapy sessions occur weekly and are 50 minutes per session, although deviations from this are sometimes arranged, say if you need a shorter or longer weekly session or fortnightly sessions. Please note that I may not be able to facilitate in person fortnightly or bi-weekly sessions because I have limited availability. I am always happy to try and fit you in though. If you’re looking for flexible sessions like this then online is your best option.

How long will I need sessions for?

This really depends on what you are coming to therapy about. I recommend a minimum of 12 sessions. This is so that we know each other a bit better and we can understand and work through what is going on for you. Most people have therapy for longer. I have worked with some clients for over a year.

Embracing Emotions’ door is always open; for example if you’ve had some sessions and a while later feel like you’d benefit from some more, you’re welcome to come back. This happens a lot, or many of my in person clients return online. People return to counselling at various points in their lives. Sometimes we need a top up - therapists do the same, similarly to how dentists see dentists and doctors see doctors.
